Roadmap
Last changed .
What has shipped is in the changelog.
Now#
Work that is under way.
The closed beta
Hosted sync and the iPhone app, for a first group of people by invitation. The desktop apps are open to anyone, without sync.
Next#
The larger pieces, in the order they are likely to arrive.
The relay you run yourself
The sync server as a package for a machine of your own, with a guide. Your devices then sync through a server nobody else operates.
Slate on Windows
Slate runs on Linux and macOS. Windows is the next desktop.
Later#
Ruled in, and not yet scheduled.
Slate on the iPad
The iPhone app runs on an iPad today, as a phone app. A larger screen and a keyboard get a design of their own.
Themes
A set of themes with the app. Community themes follow if there is demand.
Community plugins
Journal and Tasks are built in, and yours to turn off. Plugins from others follow, over a public interface.
A documentation site
The full guides, on a site of their own, so that this one can stay small.
A graph of your notes
The links between your pages, drawn as a graph you can move through.
Richer search
Ask for the tasks due this week, or the pages with a tag. Search by meaning, on your own device, is being considered.
More ways out
Export to PDF, and a whole vault at once. A single page already exports as one HTML file.
